Gut Clarity Test

Woman Seated Unwell

Do you have any of the following?

  • Bloating, gas, acid reflux, or digestion that just feels "off"

  • Diarrhea or loose stools

  • Constipation or infrequent, sluggish bowel movements (fewer than 1x per day, or difficult to pass)

  • Reacting to more and more foods over time

  • Hashimoto's, Endometriosis, or PCOS

  • Any other autoimmune condition — diagnosed or one you suspect

  • IBS, whether it's been officially diagnosed or not

  • Skin flare-ups like acne, eczema, psoriasis, or unexplained rashes

  • Hormonal symptoms — intense PMS, heavy periods, breast tenderness, or fibroids

…then you need to look at your gut!

Each of these can look like a separate, unrelated issue. But more often than not, they're all downstream signs pointing back to the same root: an imbalanced gut.

You've Already Been Tested.
So Why Don't You Have Answers?

If you've been to the GI doctor, run the standard panels, and walked away with a prescription that manages symptoms instead of explaining them — you're not imagining that something's still missing.

Let's look deeper to see what's really going on inside your gut.

What the "Gut Test" (GI-MAP) Looks At:

  • Pathogenic bacteria (e.g., H. pylori, C. difficile, Salmonella)

  • Opportunistic and commensal bacterial overgrowth

  • Parasites (protozoa and worms)

  • Fungi and yeast, including Candida species

  • Viral pathogens

  • Digestive markers — pancreatic elastase, fecal fat, and more

  • Intestinal inflammation markers — calprotectin, secretory IgA

  • Gluten antibodies — anti-gliadin

This level of detail allows for a targeted protocol rather than a generic one — you're addressing what's actually present, not guessing based on symptoms alone.

How This Connects to What You're Experiencing

Every marker on your GI-MAP tells part of a bigger story. Here's how these results commonly connect to the symptoms above:

Beneficial bacteria & digestive markers → poor digestion, bloating, gas, and acid reflux

Digestive markers (elastase, steatocrit → loose stools or diarrhea, undigested dietary fat

Intestinal inflammation & immune markers (calprotectin, secretory IgA) → multiple food sensitivities and reactions

Opportunistic bacteria, inflammation & immune markers → Hashimoto's, Endometriosis, PCOS, and other autoimmune patterns — diagnosed or suspected

Opportunistic bacteria, inflammation & immune markers → Hashimoto's, Endometriosis, PCOS, and other autoimmune patterns — diagnosed or suspected

Inflammation markers & overall gut balance → IBS, whether officially diagnosed or not

Opportunistic/troublemaker bacteria & yeast → skin issues like acne, eczema, psoriasis, or chronic rashes

This is exactly why a single symptom rarely has a single answer — and why looking at your gut as a whole system, not one marker at a time, is what leads to real clarity.

At Better Belly Nutrition, I take a root-cause,

whole-body approach to health — not a one-size-fits-all fix.

After years of working with clients, I've seen that your root cause isn't always something one test can fully uncover.

Even-so, the GI-MAP is the best first step in connecting the dots between your body and your symptoms. It gives you real clarity on what may be driving your digestive, autoimmune, IBS, or skin issues.

This service includes a personalized video walkthrough of your results — it does not include a treatment protocol. If you want support turning your results into an actual plan, that's available through my 1:1 consultation.

What Happens After Ordering:

1. Order Your Test: Order your GI-MAP kit directly through [practitioner ordering link/portal — insert here]. Because this is a specialty lab test, it's only available through a licensed or certified practitioner, which is why it's not sold directly through mainstream retailers.

2. Collect Your Sample at Home: Once your kit arrives, you'll follow simple, guided instructions to collect a stool sample and mail it directly to the lab. No appointment or blood draw required.

3. Results Are Sent to Me for Review: Results typically take 2–3 weeks. I review your full panel in detail before we meet, cross-referencing markers against your intake history and current symptoms.

4. Interpretation Video: I'll send you a video walking you through your results and explaining what any imbalanced markers mean so you have a clear understanding of what the test is showing.
