12 Kitchen Staples for Clean Eating

When you eat better, you feel better!

Focusing on enjoying whole foods while avoiding foods that contain junk ingredients is one of the most effective ways for you to:

✻ Support your immune system ✻ Boost energy & mood ✻ Improve sleep ✻ Shed extra weight

So to help make clean eating a bit easier, here are 12 of my favorite pre-prepared food items to keep stocked in your kitchen:

Virgin Coconut Oil - Perfect for higher temperature cooking, sautéing & baking (over 350º). Add a tbsp to your coffee or tea for a brain + energy boost. Great as a skin moisturizer too!


Organic Rotisserie Chicken - Keep one on hand to enjoy throughout the week in salads, lettuce wraps, tacos, etc... Save the leftover bones and carcass to make homemade bone broth.


Butternut Squash Cubes - Loaded with fiber and nutrients, add these cubes to a roasted veggie medley or sauté in a savory breakfast hash.


MALK Nut Mylks - This is one of my favorite nut milks because it is made from just almonds & water. Dairy alternatives are often loaded with junk oils (soybean and safflower), chemical additives and refined sweeteners so be sure to check their ingredient list before purchasing.


Pasture-raised/Grass-fed Bone Broth - Use as a base in soups & stews and as a healing + soothing beverage. Add a sprinkle of turmeric + black pepper for extra anti-inflammatory benefits.


Nut & Seed Butters - These products should be made with just two ingredients: the nuts or seeds that they're made from + salt. Avoid those made with hydrogenated oils & added sugars. Enjoy with celery sticks, sliced apples or try this almond butter freezer fudge for a healthy sweet treat!


HU Dark Chocolate - Bite into a square or two to help satisfy your sweet tooth. I love Hu because they use organic fair trade cocoa and coconut sugar with no processed oils or chemical additives to make the chocolate appear shiny.


Cruciferous Crunch Medley - A blend of chopped kale, brussel sprouts and cabbage that is delightful when incorporated into sautés, breakfast hashes and salads. It's loaded with prebiotic fibers that help keep your gut happy and healthy!

Frozen Cauliflower Rice - A high fiber and low carbohydrate alternative to rice. Enjoy with stir fries, burrito bowls and breakfast hashes. Try this recipe for cauliflower breakfast porridge!


Everything but the Bagel Seasoning - Add a boost of texture and flavor to stir fries, fried eggs, sliced tomatoes and avocado. Give these delectable smoked salmon & cucumber bites a whirl!


Siete Grainless Tortillas - These grain free tortillas will leave you saying "goodbye" to wheat & corn. Available in both taco & burrito size!


Pesto Sauce - Spruce up any dish with a dollop of pesto! Also wonderful as a dip for sliced raw veggies and Pesto Cauliflower Gnocchi.
